Dr. Himesh Kana
Dentist
Dr. Himesh Kana was born in a suburb just outside of London, England. At the age of eight he and his family moved to the United States, to a rural Western Oklahoma in a town called Erick where he was raised throughout his youth. Dr. Kana grew up in the hotel industry where he quickly learned the value of quality of customer service. Dr. Kana is a Sooner at heart. He attended dental school at the University of Oklahoma. Being raised in a small town with small town values, he and his family sought out a community with small town charm. This is how he chose Highland Village and Flower Mound area to live and practice. Dr. Kana is dedicated in providing the highest level of care. He and the staff are committed to education and expanding knowledge. He has completed over 1,000 hours of continuing education. Dr. Kana hopes that being accessible to all of his patients, strong community feel and values, and strong patient/customer service is what will help our practice and community grow. Dr. Kana enjoys spending time with his wife and two amazing daughters. He likes to travel, watch sports (especially OU football) and play golf when his staff lets him out of the office. He believes the greatest gift we have is raising and teaching our children.
Dr. Neil Patel
Dentist
An Oklahoma native, Dr. Patel grew up in the Oklahoma City area. He is the younger of two sons. His education began in Norman, Oklahoma where he attended the University of Oklahoma as an undergraduate and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
After graduation, Dr. Patel moved to the north Dallas area to practice implant and comprehensive family dentistry. Staying up to date with the ever changing field of dentistry and being able to provide the latest advancements in health care to his patients is of utmost importance. He is committed to the latest advancements and equipment in implant and comprehensive dentistry. In the last three years alone, he has completed more than 640 hours of continuing education.
Dr. Patel has extensive training including the advanced use of digital imaging (intra-oral camera), soft tissue laser, and the use of sophisticated digital x-ray and intra-oral imaging.
In his spare time, Dr. Patel enjoys; soccer, volleyball, football and playing with his dog, Bam Bam. He considers himself lucky to be married to the love of his life!

I am originally from Mississippi and I am the third of four sisters. I received my dental hygiene degree from Ole Miss. I have two cute yorkies that I love to pamper. My favorite things include shopping, eating, being with family and friends, listening to music, hello kitty, coffee, reading and of course healthy smiles! I truly enjoy working at the Dental Depot! I feel very blessed to work with such wonderful people (patients and staff) in such an advanced beautiful atmosphere.

I was born and raised in Graham Texas, a small town near Possum Kingdom lake in North Texas. My parents still reside there as well as my grandmother. My spare time is filled with reading, baking, working out, spending time with friends, going to The Village Church and spending time with my amazing boyfriend Mark. I was lucky enough to find my passion for the dental field in high school when I was in the work program. My first dental job was as an orthodontic assistant for the only Orthodontist in Graham. I knew then I wanted to be a dental hygienist. In May of 2008 I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls Texas. I soon moved to the area with my puppy Bella and now have found my dental home at Dental Depot. I look forward to seeing you and keeping your smile healthy and bright!

I graduated from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. I have clicked my heels and left the land of Oz and arrived in the big city of Dallas, Texas which I thoroughly enjoys. I have always been passionate about the field of dentistry–influenced by my upbringings of generations of dentists. I am enthusiastic and passionate about serving the Dallas community and delivering the utmost quality care to my patients. In my past time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and especially my precious bundle of joy—my son, Michael. My hobbies include music, arts and crafts, outdoor leisure activities, and enjoying the wonderful joys in life.

I was born and raised in Owosso, Michigan and I am the middle of three children and I come from a family of train fanatics. Engine 1225, the Polar Express, resides in my home town or Owosso. This is the train that was used for filming of the movie and during Christmas time my older brother helps the Polar Express make its holiday runs. I met and married my former husband in Michigan, shortly after marrying we moved south to get away from the snow! I have one daughter, Heather, who followed me in my dental footsteps and became a dentist. I am extremely proud of her! I attended Ferris State University in Michigan where I attained my Dental Hygiene degree. I have been practicing Dental Hygiene for the past 37 years and still have a passion for my profession. I stay active in the Dental Community attending as many CE courses as possible. I am always on the go, along with being a dental hygienist; I have also been doing taxes for 10 years during tax season. I enjoy spending time with my daughter, granddog and traveling!

I graduated from Everest College in ft, Worth in September 2010. At Everest, I participated in their Ignitor Ambassador program where I helped and tutored other dental assistant students. I brought my passion of helping others with me to the Dental Depot. I truly love what I do and I believe I have the best job – I get to help people every day!

I was born in Denton Texas and I live with my two wonderful parents, two brothers, one sister and two nephews. I also attended Lake Dallas High School and was on the soccer team there. I have been playing soccer since I was twelve and I like to watch it when I have a chance. Unfortunately I don’t play anymore due to my surgery on my ACL last year in November, but I hope to return by the beginning of next year. I started working at The Dental Depot in November of 2010 for my externship and graduated with my RDA in March 2011. I love working at The Dental Depot with all of these lovely ladies!

I have been married for over 30 years to a very patient man. I am the proud mother of two adult women and disgustingly proud grandmother of three nearly perfect grandchildren (I have pictures). I have lived all over the United States; the Pacific Northwest being my all time favorite. I love what I do; working with such a fabulous group of professionals is exciting. Patients often misunderstand that it is my job to collect the portion due after their dental work has been done. Sometimes I think the patients feel it is a personal issue, but I fight insurances daily to make sure each patient receives the benefits due to them. Sadly, I don’t always win.

I was born near Detroit, MI and raised in Perry Hall, MD. I moved to Texas a week after I graduated high school in 2004. I have been married to my husband, Jason, since August 2007, and started working at Dental Depot two weeks later. We have a fun, energetic little boy, Jaxon, who will be 3 in September and a sweet baby girl, Claire, who was born in March of 2011. I started working in the dental field when I was 18 at my uncle’s dental office in Greenville, TX as a dental assistant. I continued working there while attending Texas A&M University – Commerce. Currently I have my Associates of Science degree, and in the future would like to peruse dental hygiene. I love working at The Dental Depot! We have such a fabulous staff and best of all we have the same goal – keeping our patients healthy and smiling!

I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but have lived in Texas for most of my life. I began at The Dental Depot while attending the University of North Texas where I studied Spanish and medical Anthropology. My husband and I recently welcomed our first child – baby boy Beck. We live in Denton with our two deaf Chihuahuas and love spending time outdoors and watching movies as a family. In my spare time I love to cook, read and spend time with friends. Dental Depot has given me an amazing job opportunity along with a very quirky and special family that I love being a part of.
